Code 39, is general purpose code, which is also used widely in the world. Code 93, compact code, is closely related to code 39. LOGMARS is a code used by United States government and is same as code 39.  The next category is code is 2 dimensional codes. These codes are used when large data has to be encoded.  Data matrix 2 dimensional code has fixed length and is used for small codes making.
